The EN 166 norm it’s applicable to all types of individual protectors of the users eyes against the several susceptible dangers of hurting the eyes or changing the view, with an X-Ray exception, of the lasers and infra-red emissions issued by lower temperature fonts. The specifications of this norm are not applicable to the eye protectors, for which exists separated and complete norms, with the anti-laser eye protection, sunglasses for general use, etc… The eye protectors equipped with corrector crystals are not excluded from the application field.
